We have been contacted by a 1992 Thunderbird rugger.
He has recently published a novel based, in part, on his time at Thunderbird, and he has agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds of each sale to the team.
The book sells for $25 and all are first addition, signed copies. If you are interested, check out the website: <http://thehooligansgame.henrybreton.com/>
Slice of life during a season at American University…when you could get away with bringing a keg in a shopping cart to campus registration day and firing explosives at the soccer team’s house. Realistic characters doing over-the-top pranks, excellent rugby action….Follows exploits from recruitment of newbie to raucous annual dinner. I’ve read the novel, and it’s very amusing.
– Buzz McLain, “Rugby Magazine”
Described by Enderle as “a rugby novel,” it is perhaps more than that. It may be the very first American rugby novel, that is, a novel specifically about American rugby…
– Wes “Brigham” Clark, Rugby Reader’s Review
I can’t put it down. Hilarious. I know everyone of your characters.
– Paul Simko
